The “Voices Beyond Walls – Carrying the Voices of Children in Sevgi Evleri Further Through English” project, initiated by our @egatherincirharmani student community at the School of Foreign Languages with the support of UNİDES, continues its meaningful journey with determination, now reaching its third event day.

Our project aims to encourage children living in Sevgi Evleri (Children’s Homes) to express themselves through English, enhance their self-confidence, and open new doors of communication through language. We position English not merely as a school subject, but as a powerful tool that can broaden children’s horizons. The project is carried out on a voluntary basis.

On our third event day, we once again came together with the children in Sevgi Evleri, accompanied by our dedicated volunteer academics and students. Throughout the day, a series of fun and educational English activities took place, creating unforgettable memories for both the children and the participants. Games, songs, group work, and creative tasks made the language learning process both more enjoyable and effective.

With each passing event, we are pleased to observe a growing interest in English and increasing engagement among the children. We sincerely thank our volunteer educators, student participants, and the staff of Sevgi Evleri for their invaluable support throughout this process.

Through the “Voices Beyond Walls” project, our goal is to help children make their voices heard by wider audiences and contribute to the realization of their potential. We continue to walk this meaningful path—together.
