Foreign Language Proficiency (Exemption) Exam and Placement Exam will be held face-to-face in two sessions on Wednesday, 16.02.2022 for students who were transferred to our university in 2021-2022. Both of the exams will be administered in Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University İncirharmanı Campus Conference Hall.
First Session: Foreign Language Proficiency (Exemption) Exam:
The duration of the exam is 120 minutes. It will start at 10:00 and end at 12:00.
Students who were transferred to the programs of our university with a compulsory foreign language preparatory class and want to be exempted from preparatory education will attend this exam. Students who want to take preparatory education willingly will definitely not take this exam.
In order to be successful in this exam, out of 100 full points;
- at least 60 points for students in undergraduate programs that teach partially in English and students in associate degree programs that teach completely in English;
- at least 75 points for students in undergraduate programs that teach fully in English must be taken.
Second Session: Foreign Language Placement Exam: The duration of the exam is 90 minutes. It will start at 14.00 and end at 15.30.
Students;
- who will take preparatory education willingly and
- who did not take Foreign Language Proficiency (Exemption) Exam or who failed this exam and will study preparatory education must join this exam.
Students are required to take this exam in order to be placed in a class suitable for their language level.
- English Language and Literature (ELL) students will not take the placement exam which will be administered in the second session.
