A short film competition on” Fight against Addiction” was held at School of Foreign Languages.

Out-of-class activities are planned for the students of  SFL, Department of Foreign Languages ​​every academic year. One of these activities is VIP learning, a short film competition in which students design and act their scenarios as a teamwork.

 

The theme of the short film competition this year was “Fight against Addiction”. In this sense, students were expected to shoot short films about different types of addiction and include a message on fighting against addiction in their films.

As a result of tough evaluation process, the short film with the message of “Don’t be addicted, be free prepared by students of Prep 34; Ayça Sanin, Emine Seher Akbayır and Canan Türker won the competition and they were given various gifts.

Presenting the gifts to the winning students, Head of ​​Department of Foreign Languages Lect. Olcay Kabacalı said “Considering the performance of the students during the competition, it is nice to see that our youth is aware of addiction.”
