Students from Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University School of Foreign Languages carried out a beach cleaning event in collaboration with Kozlu Municipality. The event aimed to raise awareness about protecting shared spaces and the environment.

On April 14, 2025, students from the School of Foreign Languages participated in a meaningful social responsibility project in cooperation with Kozlu Municipality. During the event at Kozlu coast, students demonstrated their environmental sensitivity by cleaning along the shoreline.

The beach cleaning activity started in the morning and continued throughout the day. Participants not only collected waste but also delivered awareness messages about the importance of keeping natural and communal spaces clean. They emphasized the importance of individual responsibility in preventing environmental pollution and promoting sustainable living.

At the end of the event, officials from Kozlu Municipality and university representatives expressed their commitment to continuing this collaboration and thanked the students for their environmentally conscious approach. This social responsibility project contributed to raising societal awareness about protecting nature, reminding everyone that we should care for the environment not just for a day but every day.
