Zonguldak – Bülent Ecevit University Foreign Languages Faculty students have taken a significant step to draw attention to smoking addiction. The students organized a "Smoke-Free Break" event in the schoolyard, emphasizing the importance of a healthy lifestyle and contributing to environmental awareness.

As part of the event, students chose to spend their breaks engaging in sports or socializing rather than smoking. Additionally, volunteer students rolled up their sleeves to collect cigarette butts in and around the schoolyard. Equipped with gloves, the students collected the butts one by one, demonstrating their commitment to environmental cleanliness.

A student who participated in the event said, "Smoking addiction not only harms one's health but also has a negative impact on the environment. Through this event, we wanted to both draw attention to our own health and keep our environment clean."
