As part of Green Crescent Week, a tournament was organized to highlight the importance of sports in combating addiction.

Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University School of Foreign Languages, in collaboration with Kozlu District Directorate of Youth and Sports, organized a 3x3 Street Basketball Tournament as part of Green Crescent Week to raise awareness about addiction and promote a healthy lifestyle. High school students from Kozlu district and preparatory class students participated in the event. With strong student participation and interest, the tournament aimed to increase students' engagement in sports and encourage an active lifestyle.

Throughout the tournament, students competed in teams, experiencing the thrill of competition. At the same time, they personally witnessed the significance of sports in leading a healthy life and staying away from addictions. The event fostered a warm and friendly atmosphere among students while emphasizing the physical and mental health benefits of sports.

The School of Foreign Languages administration stated that they would continue to encourage students to adopt sports as a way of life in the fight against addiction. They also announced plans to organize volleyball and football tournaments in the future to further raise awareness. At the end of the tournament, trophies were awarded to the top-performing teams.
