The School of Foreign Languages at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University has successfully concluded this year’s “Meet-Up Corner” event series, which brought together academics, alumni who previously studied at our preparatory program, and students from various faculties. The program featured valuable insights from lecturers in the Departments of English Language and Literature, Economics, and Electrical-Electronics Engineering. The final session of the series was held on December 12, 2025.

During the last session, in addition to Research Assistant Yusuf Bahri Özçelik, Seymen Hiçyılmaz, a senior student from the Faculty of Engineering and a member of the ZBEÜOVAT Technology Team, shared information about the team’s projects and activities. Students had the chance to gain clearer insights into their departments and receive answers to their lingering questions, helping them shape their future career paths.

The Director of the School of Foreign Languages, Lect. Okşan Dağlı emphasized the significance of the program, stating:

“Meet-Up Corner is an important platform that helps our students plan their educational journey more consciously. Hearing from our alumni and faculty members enables our students to move forward with greater confidence. I sincerely thank everyone who contributed to the organization, our guest speakers for sharing their valuable time, and all students who participated actively.”

The School of Foreign Languages will continue organizing events that support both the academic and professional development of its students.
