Asst. Prof. Harun Nasır, one of the valuable members of our FEAS and the vice chair of the Department of Economics, met with our 100% English-medium Economics students currently studying in the prep program.

In this friendly and interactive session, he talked about the department, possible career paths, the skills the field looks for, and why English plays such a central role.

He also shared moments from his international experience, explaining how foreign language proficiency opened doors for him, and answered students’ questions throughout the talk.

After the session, students had the chance to speak with him individually and ask whatever they were curious about.

This warm and inspiring meeting marked the second day of the third Meet-Up Corner event we’re organizing this year.
