The School of Foreign Languages successfully held the “The Language Journey: Interactive Poster Showcase” event on 11 May 2026 at the Sezai Karakoç Foyer Hall of Farabi Campus. During the event, Preparatory School students had the opportunity to present their creative posters reflecting their language learning journeys and experiences.

The showcase attracted great interest from both students and instructors of the School of Foreign Languages. Visitors listened attentively to the presentations, and highly positive feedback was received regarding both the organization and the quality of the displayed works. For the students presenting their posters, the event became a highly productive and educational experience in terms of academic, social, and personal development.

Throughout the preparation process, students designed their posters by following the step-by-step AI-supported training sessions provided by Vice Director Lect. Dr. Şule Çınar Yağcı. In addition to individual work, students also had the opportunity to collaborate in groups, exchange peer feedback, and experience the value of teamwork and cooperative learning. Students stated that they were happy to take part in the event and excited to have their first extracurricular activity officially included in their social transcripts.

Vice Director Lect. Ulaş Koçak, who coordinated the poster design process, printing arrangements, technical setup, and exhibition organization, emphasized that the students demonstrated remarkable dedication throughout the project. He noted that students successfully undertook responsibilities such as arranging the stands, hanging and removing the posters, and organizing the foyer area. Koçak also stated that the final products exceeded expectations.

Reflecting on the process, Lect. Dr. Şule Çınar Yağcı remarked:

“We only tried to show the way; it was our students who walked that path and made it meaningful and beautiful.”

The Director of the School of Foreign Languages, Lect. Okşan Dağlı, also expressed her satisfaction with the students’ creativity, dedication, and the overall success of the event, congratulating all participants for their efforts.
