Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University (BEÜN) attended the first meeting of the European Union project "Lingua Trek".

ZBEÜ aims to develop a digital game that can make English teaching more fun and effective, and to develop game-based language education materials for teachers and students with the European Union Erasmus+ Project.

In this context, the first face-to-face meeting of the project was held in Burgos, Spain, between April 22-26. Instructor Dr. Emrah Baki Başoğlu from the School of Foreign Languages and Asst. Prof. Dr. Soner Sözler, Director of the Distance Education Center, attended the meeting on behalf of ZBEÜ. After each institution presented their own activities, the role distributions and activities in the work packages were discussed in detail.

In the meeting, a promotional video of ZBEÜ was shown to the participants and an informative presentation was made to introduce the university. Again, there was an exchange of ideas on the joint scientific studies to be carried out with Erasmus University of Rotterdam, one of the ZBEÜ project partners.
